3T Cricket | Schedule, Squads, Timings and Live Streaming | Solidarity Cup

After the success of T10 cricket, 3T Cricket is going to be held for the first time in the history of cricket.

This 3T Cricket will be held in South Africa on 27 June in which all the big players of the South Africa international team will play.

The match will be played for Covid-19 fundraising which will be of 36 overs.

All the big names of Cricket South Africa will play this exhibition match on 27 June in Centurion which will be the newest form of cricket.

There are various rules and regulations which will be followed for this new format of the game by all the three teams named as KG’s Kingfishers, Quinny’s Kites and AB’s Eagles.

These three teams will be led by Quinton de kock, Ab De Villiers and Kagiso Rabada which are also named after them.

The main motive of this match will be to raise funds for the Cricket community who are finding it hard due to the Coronavirus outbreak.

Solidarity Cup Venue and Live Streaming:

Match will be played at Super sport Park, Centurion on 27 June at 02:30 PM Indian Standard Time (IST).

This match will also be live streamed by super sport and on Social Media sites of South Africa Cricket.

3T Cricket Squads:

KG’s Kingfishers:

Kagiso Rabada (c), Faf du Plessis, Chris Morris, Tabraiz Shamsi, Reeza Hendricks, Janneman Malan, Heinrich Klaasen, Glenton Stuurman

Quinny’s Kites:

Quinton de Kock (c), David Miller, Temba Bavuma, Anrich Nortje, Dwayne Pretorius, Beuran Hendricks, JJ Smuts, Lutho Sipamla

AB’s Eagles:

AB de Villiers (c), Aiden Markram, Lungi Ngidi, Andile, Phehlukwayo, Rassie van der Dussen, Junior Dala, Kyle Verreynne, Sisanda Magala

3T Cricket Schedule and Rules:

  • 3TC, this name only means that this match will be played between three teams which will be of 36 overs.
  • Each team will bat for 12 overs, in which they will face the second and third team at an interval of 6 overs in first and second half respectively.
  • Teams will have to play by saving their wickets because if any team’s 8 wickets fall, then that team will be considered all out.
  • If a team’s 7 wickets fall in the first half, then that team will not be allowed to play the remaining game of the first half, the last remaining player alone will play the second half game and make runs only in even numbers.
  • The bowling team will get a new bowl for every 12 over.
  • Only 3 overs are allowed for a bowler.

The winners will be decided as follows –

  • Gold to the team that scored the most runs
  • The second-placed team will get silver and Third place team will be awarded Bronze.
  • If any two teams get tied for the most runs, then it will be decided by playing a super over and if all three teams finish at tie, then all of them will be given gold.
